Great location and nice room. We are huge Rodd fans and have stayed at almost all locations and it always feels like coming home. We had a king room facing Main Street and it was next to a lovely little park and right on the tidal bore, they even have the times posted at the front desk. Friendly staff and outstanding breakfast, really lovely. Would have liked to see a towel bar in the bathroom as there was only one hook on the back of the door, which made it challenging for both of us to hang our damp towels anywhere, a bit odd. Would stay here again though, with our Rodd fam : )

Staff was very friendly & welcoming on checkin & checkout. Hotel reception area clean. Breakfast is the regular, eggs, sausages, beans, etc. No complaints. Dining area was clean. We were on the second floor facing the road, rooms are small, dated but very clean. Now, the traffic noise from Main street. Its not so much the traffic as it is loud exhaust on some vehicles. Its loud. I normally can sleep through anything. So no sleep for me. Bring your noise canceling headphones. Ear plugs did not help. I would stay again if i could have rent a drive up room facing the river.

Stopped in to ask if they had a room available...they did! Excellent rate, breakfast included was good. View of the river! We had a bigger room; they made it clear that there was a smaller room available but that it was quite small. We left a coat behind and were able to easily contact them and arrange for later pickup at the front desk. Very friendly and accommodating front desk staff.

Very nice hotel in a great location just outdated but clean and room didn’t smell. We ended up with a view of the river which I’m glad as that hall was much cooler temp wise than the front area which I found very warm. Breakfast was good, kids loved the pool. The staff went above/beyond and were so kind. I would stay again.
