Not only is the day of your surgery, stressful enough. But when you go into admissions as soon as three minutes, they were asking us for payment in full for my husband‘s procedure. Now mind you he has private insurance who will pay the majority of it. Are you kidding me? This is how you treat people who are going in for a major surgery who already have anxiety and scared. I have been in the medical field for over 30 years. This type of practice is unconscionable before a procedure knowing these facts stated above. Once back in preop, the TV did not work and the monitor was broken. To top this experience off was the nurse starting a line did not know what she was doing. She could not find a vein we call that fishing for a vein. At that point, she should’ve stopped and asked someone else to try but did not oh wow my husband was very uncomfortable. If you want to go outside and get some fresh air and sit down, this is not the hospital for you. There is no seating located for the public anywhere outside except a wall, you can sit on. They do, however, have a huge area, that could be utilized with tables and umbrellas. But you would be visited by the local possum that hangs out there. After all this experience, we will not be returning to this hospital for any further procedures. In my past experience for an all-around great facility Baptist Health Hospital is the best in

I mean who really want to do this process? But. It is necessary after all certain age. This group- took EXCELLENT care of me. And- the day of the procedure. I was in and out and on the way to get breakfast before I could even think about being hungry. I appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and bedside manner provided to me. I have worked myself in healthcare for most of my adult life. So I have a high expectation. And… it was exceeded. Thank u ALL! Keep up the great work!! Also to Dr Martin! Ur the best! I went to the ER with chest pain among other symptoms and was told everything was ok. After seeing my ekg on my portal I’m not sure if I was taken seriously or if all the staff was goofing off since it was slow or what. I’m a nurse so I understand healthcare workers personalities but this was too far!!! And I never got fluids, doctor also wrote a glowing note in my chart of an assessment pretty much head to toe and didn’t touch me

Extremely personable staff!!! From doctors to nurses assistants and when I got lost the lady in the laundry room- everyone is so friendly and helpful. Great care by a caring team. The place is well run and everyone seems to be working in concert together. It's nice to see how caring and genuine the people interact and treat the patients.
