After a very rocky and ineffective relationship with a previous management company, our HOA switched to Sharper Management. It has been a welcome and positive experience. Our property manager, Michael Miller is very knowledgeable, proactive and effective in working with vendors and diligent in putting our projects out for bid to get the best results for the best value. He is very accessible, attentive and responsive. Property management can be difficult and unfortunately, many negative reviews are mistaking the Board of Directors/ Homeowners responsibilities and that of the Management Company. The Management Company, in this case Sharper Management, does not set dues, make rules or policy or prioritize projects of the HOA. The Board of Directors of the HOA does that and represents the owners of the association. Sharper Management takes direction from the Board and their job is to execute on those decisions and enforce rules policy. We rely on Sharper Management, and specifically Michael Miller, for advice and guidance to help us manage our Association, develop realistic budgets and reserves, and communicate with owners as needed. As a Board member of our HOA, I am pleased with the partnership that our HOA has with Sharper Management and give them a definite THUMBS UP!

He’s shown great responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail. He helped oversee long-overdue capital improvements, coordinated the installation of a new security system, and implemented stronger safety measures for our community. Importantly, hes also improved revenue collections from laundry and parking, showing real initiative and care for the property’s finances. Communication with him is always clear and timely.
