I have been living at Keele Street for more than 10 years. Signet has managed this building for a long time. I am so happy, I love the pool and my building. The service, the maintenance, the property!!! Everything is amazing! I am not moving anywhere, anytime soon!!! Talking about their head office, I love their office and it looks so gorgeous! Jag (The receptionist) she is the best, she is scared of my dog but she always still helps me always! So does Kerri! Signet is one of the best property management companies in GTA. I want to share my experience living here so future tenants can make an informed decision. In my time at this property, communication with management has been extremely difficult. Issues often go unresolved unless you follow up repeatedly, and even then, it can take days or weeks to receive a clear answer. We requested a transfer to a two-bedroom unit and did not hear back for a full week. When we finally received a response, we were told the unit had just been taken. Later, we found out the same unit became available again, but management did not notify us. We had to discover this ourselves, reapply, and even after confirming we were first in line, we received no update for several days and our request was eventually cancelled without any explanation. Maintenance has also been a major concern. Last winter, our unit experienced flooding due to an issue with the heater. Despite reporting it, management did not respond urgently. I had to call multiple times and explain that it was an emergency before anyone came to check. By that time, some of my belongings had already been damaged by the water. There have also been ongoing maintenance issues in the building, including laundry machines that produced a strong construction-dust smell during building work. This affected all our clothes, and we were asked to rewash everything at our own cost even though the issue was not caused by us. Overall, based on my experience, I recommend new tenants be cautious. The rent deals and promotions may look attractive, but communication and maintenance support can be very challenging. I truly hope management improves their responsiveness and care for current residents.
