Customer experiences
A week ago I went to skyway Honda of Enid and purchased my first vehicle. I chose Skyway because of their fair prices, that I even drove two hours. I was helped by Joe, he made this a pleasant experience and kept it real. If you are looking for a vehicle I highly recommend him. He will get things done quickly and efficiently
My first thought when we found a car for my daughter in Enid, OK was, "where the heck is Enid, OK?" OK, so I did know where Enid was, had even been there once to see a Rodney Carrington show, but really, drive to Enid to look at a car. Well, it was the car my daughter really wanted, so "Dad" kicked in.....going to Enid. We had communicated with Tim, and he was ready when we arrived. Took the car for a drive, daughter loved it, worked out a few kinks caused by another dealership we had recently worked with, and daughter drove home her "awesome" car! The people at Skyway were wonderful, and my daughter got the car she has always wanted.....couldn't write a story better to this point, looking forward to the happy ending of the car just seems to last forever!!! Well, that is what we all hope for, and Skyway put us on that path.... Thank you Tim and the rest of the team at Skyway.
Probably not enough space to write all the details. Iāll try to be brief. Iām retired. Living on SS. I plan out my financial commitment in detail. Iāve been preparing for a car purchaseā at least a year. Have I had hiccups in life? Sure. Life has a way of challenging our health and economic well-being. One over five years ago. As a retired Senior on a limited incomeā¦we make responsible decisions to adjust to the continuous high cost of living. From personal experienceā Seniors are overwhelmed, over-looked and at in some instancesā taken advantage of when not having the flexibility to compete in our competitive environment. To meāāhonestyā is number one. If you say something; your word āseals the dealā. I arranged for a friend to drive me to Enidāover an hour away from my hometown. To give you an idea of my experience in a nutshellā I waited for hours to hear from the dealership about my loan approval. I had to contact them around 4pm after waiting since around noon. Management tells me over the phone, āYes, we got an approval. But the interest is a little high (mind you they showed me a quote for less than 6% originally) but weāre sure we can get you a better rate. Come back. You can leave with the car (Honda Accord) and return as soon as we secure a better loan for you.ā I thought, āWow!ā Thatās remarkable. I returned to the dealership. Waited out front. The salesman made himself scarceā¦š¤ I waited and waited. Finally, realityā there was no better deal from management. I was handed a quoteā Close to ātripleā their original quote! Shown a credit score that didnāt match my records. As I receive email alerts about my credit score on a regular basis. That was interesting?š§ But they stood by the higher interest quote. Not āone mentionā of the conversation with management on the phone asking me to return for their āflexibleā lower interest loan offer⦠I refused this outrageous interest loan offer! As I left, the salesman (Cable) made himself visible again and asked if I wanted to put a deposit on the Honda Accord, while a loan was worked out. How would anyone process an ounce of trust with this experience? It was obviousāI was hearing āwordsāā¦mere conversationā with no intention of looking out for me. I canāt write how many times my alarm whistles went off⦠Thinkingāremain positive. Give them the benefit of the doubt; as the salesman (Cable) started out very helpful. Very agreeable. But oddly disappeared later⦠I guess the āmain alertā should have been when I turned on the car to test driveāsalesman (Cable) suggesting I take the Honda Accord to lunchāand as Iām driving away on my test driveā¦the āgas lightā comes on! Really? NO GAS! The Honda was very low on gas. Iām test driving with the gas light on! This was how they prepared the car for me? NO gas. I feel they knew exactly how they would process my Honda purchase⦠It was āneverā about customer service or honoring their word. It was about their bottom lineā āPROFITā.
Cable made the buying experience flawless. They gave me more money for my trade in than anyone else would have in town. The closing of the contract was so easy and Carson went out of his way to make it that way. I absolutely love my new accord and I will definitely buy from them again ā¤ļø
