As a carrier, working with Steam Logistics has been a great experience. Alexis Everett and Andrew Pritchard are both top-notch in their roles. Alexis has been incredibly responsive and always makes sure we have all the details we need to get the job done right. She’s quick to communicate and always follows up, which makes a huge difference in keeping everything on track. Andrew has been equally fantastic—super organized and always ensuring that things run smoothly. The loads are well-coordinated, and I never feel left in the dark about any of the details. It’s clear they value their carrier relationships and work hard to make the process as efficient and straightforward as possible. Good Afternoon, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address an issue that arose with a load scheduled for Friday, October 3, 2025, with STEAM Logistics, represented by Ryan Calderon. This load was booked on October 2, 2025, at a rate of $450 USD. My driver, Rajnish, arrived at the pickup location promptly at 8:00 AM, only to be informed by the shipper that loading would not commence until between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. I promptly contacted Ryan to inform him of the situation, and he assured me that he would communicate with the shipper to clarify the issue. While my driver was waiting, another driver arrived with the same pickup number and broker name. I have attached a screenshot for your reference. I reached out to Ryan again to discuss this development, but he expressed uncertainty about our booking, stating, "You weren't supposed to pick up this load." Despite my efforts to provide him with the rate confirmation, he remarked, "I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU GOT THIS RATE CONFIRMATION, AND THAT'S WEIRD." Regrettably, Ryan subsequently placed blame on my driver, Rajnish, claiming he was causing a disturbance at the shipper's location. He further stated that he would not use PA Transfreight LLC again, alleging that the load had been canceled with us the previous day at noon. When I requested any form of proof to support this claim, Ryan was unable to provide any documentation. In contrast, Joshua Costa, who was present, denied any wrongdoing on Rajnish's part and confirmed that he conducted himself professionally, attributing any disruption to the other driver. It appears that STEAM Logistics may have opted for a lower-cost carrier, as evidenced by the rate discrepancy—our load was booked at $450 USD, while another was booked at $400 USD. It seems that Ryan may have attempted to deflect responsibility for this situation onto our carrier. In instances like this, it is common practice for brokers to place carriers on a Do Not Use (DNU) list, which can have significant repercussions for their business. However, in this case, it seems the broker may have been at fault. I have attached all relevant communications with Ryan Calderon and Joshua for your review. While I understand that mistakes can occur, it is essential that we address this matter appropriately.

We have always had a good experience with this company, but during our recent delivery, we encountered some issues. We had to wait at the shipper for four extra hours, and then had to wait for five more hours at the delivery location. The payment we received for detention was only $33 per hour which we felt was not fair considering we lost two days on a load that was only 240 miles. Broker: Dennis Swaney Load# 904093
