This is such a beautiful property. The restaurant is such a special place that makes you feel that you are in an enchanted forest. The lounge is a great place for breakfast and a fun drink and light dinner with friends. Everyone is so cordial and anxious to make your stay memorable. The welcome drink at check-in and light snack in your beautiful room signals that this is a special place from the moment you arrive. The grounds are gorgeous. The location is just a short ride from downtown Victoria. Loved it!

Rosemead is an outstanding hotel. It has a warm wonderful atmosphere. Not the stark modern decor but warm and inviting. But don't let that fool you. The rooms have the most modern features including heated bathroom floor. The on site restaurant is amazing. Far surpassing other hotel restaurants. You will not be sorry to stay in for the evening. The staff was attentive and pleasant making sure the visit was the best. I hope to make another visit.

Won’t be a well kept secret for long if it was one. This is a place you will want to return again and again. The grounds are gardens are incredible. The context is grand and stunning yet comfortable and refreshing. Attention to detail is apparent in everything. There will be a first rate spa opening in November and as I understand it hot pool and cold plunge by Spring. The javenca restaurant is a must. Unparalleled dining experience. The rooms are luxurious and spacious. The decor in each room is unique and wonderful. Good lighting. High ceilings. Beautiful bathrooms. Smart toilets! Highly recommend.

We are so happy we found this place on the AMEX travel portal, the Rosemead House was a such a gem and made out visit to greater Victoria the highlight of our trip. We originally booked 2 nights in Haselmere Room and then added a third night shortly after checking in. The value of every aspect of this hotel is on point. The staff is so attentive, friendly, effiecient and hospitable it makes your stay beyond what you get from most hotels. The included breakfast is the normal is delicious and we especially enjoyed the coffee service each morning in the hallway. The turn down service at night was a special treat and everything in the room is very high quality. We especially appreciated the Kohler smart toilet just like the one we have at home. We always joke that the hardest part about staying at a hotel is not having a toilet as nice as the one you have at home and that's not the case at the rosemead. ||The hotel itself is a 11 outta 10, we really loved the historic building with the cool and funky remodel, not overdone at all, but very classy. It reminds us of the Lafayette hotel in san Diego but with way more class. ||A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay here wonderful and memorable!
