Have just witnessed the most disrespectful company do a walkthrough. The lady comes with short shorts. In a bad attitude. I did not realize when you pay rent that you lose the right to privacy. Ask Amanda if everything's okay. And all she can say is we will see. They have lived in that house for 3 years four humans and two dogs. The house is clean. This house smells like essential oils. Amanda has a tendency of waiting until after rents paid to do a 7-Day violation notice. Is this a Stonewall tactic to try to keep their deposit when they move out. Doesn't sound like a very good company I would want to live in

I have never made a review like this in my life but I am very shook up this morning. Getting onto 235 from MLK Parkway this morning on my way to drop off my infant at daycare we were ran off the road by a Swift Properties KUV van that merged into our lane on the on ramp of 235. Had I not swerved to the shoulder of the road we would of been in a bad accident with my 5 month old baby in the car. The guy in the truck had zero care or remorse for his actions let alone the rules of the road. Absolutely unacceptable behavior.

As of today we still haven’t received our deposit back from Swift. Monday morning I’ll be in a lawyers office. We told Ashley Stodden last week we were going to pursue legal action so she sent us the disposition said we’d have our money in 3-5 days todays day 4. If anyone else is having this issue with Swift see below: Steps to take when the money is not returned Send a demand letter. Write a formal letter to your former landlord referencing the itemized statement and the specific date you received it. State that because 30 days have passed and you have not received payment, they have forfeited the right to the deposit under Iowa law. Give them a clear deadline to return the full amount. Send the letter via certified mail with a return receipt requested. This provides proof of delivery. Gather documentation. Collect all relevant information to support your case in small claims court. A copy of your lease agreement. Your written forwarding address and proof you provided it (e.g., a certified mail receipt). The written disposition or itemized list you received from the landlord. Any other communication with your landlord regarding the deposit. File a small claims court case. If the demand letter is ignored, you can file a lawsuit in Iowa's small claims court, which is designed for individuals to represent themselves without an attorney. Small claims courts in Iowa handle disputes for up to $6,500. The Iowa Judicial Branch website provides information on how to collect a judgment if you win. If you believe the landlord acted in bad faith, you can pursue the additional punitive damages.

0 STARS IF I COULD!!!! THEY ARE A SCAM! they don’t return deposits, they give you the run around so you could give up on demanding it to be returned. They say you need to speak with Ashley whom can never be reached, she says she’s out of town or simply ignores your emails. A lawsuit will be pursued, they are not legit, please families save yourself the hassle and DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!!
