I had a wonderful stay at Ramada by Wyndham Angola/Fremont Area. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and provided everything I needed for a relaxing visit. What made the experience truly special, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Bobby, Meggi, and Cash Didi went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, treating me like part of their family rather than just a guest. Their warmth, kindness, and attention to detail created a homely atmosphere that made my stay memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel not just for its amenities and convenience, but for the amazing team that makes every guest feel valued. I’ll definitely be coming back!

There really isn't anything to like about this hotel. As we pulled in, I wasn't sure what we were getting ourselves into. Foot tall weeds were growing in the cracks of the parking lot and the lot is way past due for replacement. Water is provided by a well that is hitting an extremely rusty aquifer. Its taste is atrocious. Our bathroom and for that matter the entire hotel is in desperate need of a renovation which the hotel seems to be in the process of. There are at least three wild cats in the courtyard and the deck in the courtyard should be demolished and replaced with grass or rebuilt. All this for $150/night. We decided to find a different hotel to stay the second night of our trip and were charged an early leave fee of $45. Once we got back home, I left a message with Ramada/Wyndham customer service to request our $45 back and to discuss the issues we experienced with the hotel yet no answer 7 days later. Cellular service for the area is nonexistent and the wifi was terrible. I strongly recommend staying at a different hotel in the area. Pokagon, an Indiana state park has a lovely hotel and is a few minutes away from this one.

We had to stop unexpectedly in Angola due to a car issue on a family trip and somehow when we made the reservation online the dates got switched. Bobby at the Ramada Inn worked with us to get a comparable room and cleared it with the online company so we didn't loose our money and have to pay for another room. He expedited getting the room ready for my wife and kids who were exhausted from our ordeal. He recommended an auto shop 3 minutes away that was able to make sure we could get back on the road the next morning. My daughter loved the fresh lemon water and my son enjoyed that we were able to go hit the pool to relax before grabbing dinner and catching a great night's sleep. Thanks to Bobby and the rest of the team.

Good for last resort. After trucking for 19 hrs and sleeping sitting down in a cab for 2 hot humid nights, I didn't care about the obvious cosmetic repairs that were bandaged/patched over. For what I paid, it did not match the quality. 130 for the night plus a 50 refundable damage deposit after 11am. Couldn't bring food to the room from the breakfast area. Water smelled like rust and sulfur. If you can get over the cosmetic stuff and you just need a bed and a shower, this is a simple place to do so.
