I never thought after looking up dojos in Durham region after my son said he wanted to give karate another try (thank you Cobra Kai) we would be joining a family. I have not only witnessed my son learn how to defend himself (should he ever need to) I have witnessed his confidence, pride and self respect grow in ways I never thought imaginable. Every single instructor is incredible and truly knows how to engage children and adults alike. I was so amazed at what I was witnessing sitting on the sidelines, that I joined! There are classes every single day of the week that you can attend which is something I have never seen in other dojos. Usually it’s a couple classes a week. Karate not your thing? There’s tae kwon do, kickboxing, Zumba…. You can try it out for a week FOR FREE…so really you have nothing to lose and an entire family to gain. Hope to see you on the dojo floor.

I enrolled my son at Harmony Martial Arts after he had a bad experience elsewhere that left him feeling scared and hesitant. We joined primarily to help build his confidence, get him moving, and learn new skills. The team at Harmony Martial Arts was so welcoming and understanding. They allowed me to stay close to him in the beginning, which really helped him feel safe. He warmed up quickly and now absolutely loves it! He talks about his classes so proudly, and it’s amazing to see his confidence grow. I highly recommend Harmony Martial Arts to any parent looking for a supportive and encouraging environment for their child.

One of the best dojo’s I am happy to say I have seen and been to , all the instructors are top notch, they know how to deal with children. There is such a strong family vibe and very one leads and lives the values of the dojo. My deepest respect .
