Wow, what a wonderful time I had spending a few nights solo at The Hideaway. There were so many unique and homey touches and the views and sounds of nature made it so peaceful. I had one of the best sleeps of my life in the loft bed. I specifically enjoyed hiking through the trails on the property, sitting down by the river with a cold beer and reading next to the wood stove in the evenings. I can’t wait for my next trip out east to return again!

True to its name “The Hideaway” with peaceful forest and soothing river, it’s the perfect place to de-stress, unwind and disconnect yourself from the everyday routine. Mike and Kylie pay special attention to every detail to make sure that your stay will be a memorable one. Both cozy cabins were beautifully decorated and fully outfitted with everything you could possibly need for your getaway. Guaranteed the best sleep I have ever had and the outdoor shower was absolutely amazing! Time spent on the many forested hiking trails was magical and definitely good for your soul. I miss it already and can’t wait until I come back for another visit! ❤️

"The Hideaway" was a wonderful escape from the monotony of everyday life, offering a magical place to unwind and relax. The hosts, Kylie and Mike went above and beyond to create a cozy and comfortable space, taking care of every little detail. I'm eagerly looking forward to going back and exploring the hiking trails, as well as wading in the river. It's definitely a retreat I'll be looking forward to every year.

I just got back from the most wonderful experience at The Hideaway. I stayed in the cozy birch cabin. It was a retreat of sorts for myself. I hiked their trails, relaxed by the river bank, paddled the river, and enjoyed my evening’s on the deck by the fire. Kylie and Mike were the kindest of hosts. I will definitely return!
