I was born in Philly, so there was going to be appeal right from the start. But I expected it to be a bit gimmicky and only conducive to a one-time experience. Well, I was wrong about that. Not only have I gone back to Passyunk several times in Fitzrovia, I also visited the flagship Waterloo location in the Leak Street tunnel and the brand new location on Church Street in Kensington. All locations are consistent in their excellent and authentic American pub grub with a Philly twist and their amazing friendly wait staff and bartenders. The cheesesteaks are to die for and the beers and cocktails are creative and delicious. All of this while being chatted up by the most delightful and enthusiastic staff you could hope for. To top it off, all of the Philadelphia decor, memorabilia and even sports on the TVs make me feel like I’m back in the City of Brotherly Love without having to leave my beloved London. So I highly recommend this whether you’re an expat that misses the uniquely American bar food and snacks not available here, or if you’re local and want a god-honest American sports bar experience, this is the jawn for you

Service, atmosphere, and food quality were top notch. Also, PBR at 5.75 a pint is shockingly cheap for London. One beer turned into three and I was already set up for a gig over in Shepherd's Bush.
