We stayed herel from the 24th–26th and had a really great experience overall. The staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the hotel had a calm, comfortable feel that made it easy to relax. Our room was clean, cozy, and well looked after, with thoughtful details that made the stay feel a bit more special. The location was convenient for getting around, and I always felt safe and comfortable coming back at the end of the day. Everything was smooth and stress-free, which is exactly what you want from a hotel stay. I’d happily come back again and would definitely recommend it to others.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience hosting our wedding at this hotel. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and professionalism. A huge thank you to Sarah Savolainen, the Catering Sales Manager. She was absolutely amazing throughout the entire planning process. Always attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was right. She made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable, and we always felt incredibly supported. The banquet staff, banquet manager, and kitchen truly exceeded our expectations. The service was seamless, the food was fantastic, and everything ran so smoothly. Our guests had an incredible time and are still talking about how much they enjoyed the evening. Overall, the experience was exceptional, and we are so grateful to the entire team for helping make our wedding day everything we hoped for and more!
Thank you to sous chef Elaine at the afternoon tea who we had a conversation about the green tea. It was heartwarming to see she was working very hard to perfect her matcha preparation (which was already of high quality!). We’re glad we found the advertisement for green tea during breakfast since it wasn’t listed on the menu online. We were looking at other places a bit further out of the city to try green tea, so it was a nice surprise that there was someone who makes it at the hotel. Matcha is getting popular, so hope the hotel can back this product more since options are still limited in the city. I think it would be even more enjoyable if it could be prepared with proper whisks and served in matcha bowls. Thanks for the cake as well and hope to be back again!
This was by far one of the best hotel stays I’ve had—and I travel a lot. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They carefully walked me through all the amenities and perks included with my booking through the Amex Hotel Collection, which I really appreciated. The hotel itself is fantastic. I stayed during the holiday season, and the festive atmosphere made the experience even more special. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, and the on-site gym and spa were wonderful. [Room: 8/10] The only downside was the heater—it was quite loud. That said, it’s an older building, so I understand there may be limitations. Additionally, the heater unit in the bathroom didn’t work, which made it a bit cold while showering. [Staff: 10/10] Special shoutout to Madeline (Maddy), who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Every time I returned to the hotel, it truly felt like coming home. She made me feel genuinely welcome and was incredibly patient, walking me through everything during check-in. She honestly made my stay. [Amenities: 10/10] The gym and spa are excellent, and the hotel itself is both grand and charming. Overall, I was extremely impressed by The Omni King Edward Hotel. I’m a top-tier member with all the major U.S. hotel brands—every single one you can think of—and this was my first time staying with Omni. I can confidently say it surpassed many of my past travel experiences. The reviews are real—this place is truly a gem in Toronto. I will absolutely be staying here again; it already feels like my second home.
