We had to check out early after finding ROACHES in the room. Customer care did nothing to help, and the manager of the establishment obviously is used to running rundown nasty establishments. He told me that I should have taken the woman working the front desk back to the room to show her, but the woman literally refused to even get up and told me that I had to wait for a manager to come at 10 AM the next morning and I was not going to stay in a roach infested establishment. ESPECIALLY with my toddler. No accommodation was given and not even an apology. They blatantly refused that there were any roaches in the room because they said that they went in and checked after me, and I explained to them that I literally have photo evidence of three separate roaches being in the room. I would say literally anywhere you could other than here unless you like sleeping with roaches 🪳 And I haven’t even touched on the fact that there were people tricking outside of the hotel and bringing John’s in and out at all hours of the night, The bathroom was rusted and disgusting and it’s quite obvious that they don’t Deep clean anything there.

This place is infested with termites! My friend and I booked a room for 1 night. Upon my first check when we entered the room it smelled of mold and smoke but that’s pretty much expected of the Motel 6 chain brand. I pulled the covers back sheets were decent no bugs in sight. This was at 6am on Saturday morning. Around 8:30 pm when I woke up I noticed a bug crawling on my ear. I killed it and thought nothing of it because it was only 1 bug. I had never seen a termite before I couldn’t phantom what kind of bug it was. However shortly afterwards I found one crawling on my arm which caused me to jump out the bed abruptly hurting my stomach. As I’m crouched over breathing through the pain I noticed that the floor is covered completely in the same bugs! I snatched the covers back on the bed and they were crawling all throughout the bedding! I go take my clothes off and some fell out of my clothes off my body. They were in my hair! I had my friend contact the front office in which she was told that the staff would call up to the room and manage the situation… I took a 30 minute shower…. I come out the restroom now the bugs are everywhere including the walls!….. No one ever called no one ever came! I get out the shower completely confused on what to do as I’ve never been through anything like this before so I left the room and sat in the office. ATP I’m ready to leave the property but I give it another shot at a room change just in case I was over reacting. I tell the front desk that I’m the guest that reached out about the bug issue in room 231. “(white blond lady could be in between 36-50) States that the bugs are termites ( I had never seen a termite before) and they’re completely over the entire property and every room. There would be no point in changing rooms however she’s not authorized to do anything except new bookings. The “man” who’s authorized to do room changes etc stepped out and would be back shortly.” I arrived at the front desk around 9pm roughly 9:05 I left the front office at 10:17pm… the “man” never showed! There was no concern or sense of urgency to rectify the situation. We were told they would call but when I arrived at the front desk the worker was nonchalantly sitting there doing absolutely nothing . While sitting in the office the termites were everywhere! I watched her check in at least 5 families within the hour that I was sitting and there wasn’t even the slightest mention of a termite infestation. Nothing at all. This place needs to close! I’m back home and have developed ptsd from this situation! I’m itching all over, feeling things crawling on me , seeing bugs that are not there ! I threw away all items that I took with me in fear of bringing termites home with me! I also noticed black mold in the restroom on the baseboard under the restroom sink and water filled paint giving in in the left corner of the restroom ceiling directly above the sink.

Thursday of last week I, have booked at room from motel 6 from Slidell Louisiana,…The employee from the front desk are very kind and Generous that help with customer care. It’s very very nicely sanitize. May 14 host of nite shift Angel gave me the town voice tour on site seeing what to expect to on restaurant vendor on good food.

We were trying to find somewhere cheap to stay for Superbowl weekend. As soon as we walked in, there was a cockroach in the bathroom light socket. He was alive & trying to get out. I know this might not be a big deal to some people, but they're my absolute biggest fear. We left immediately & got a room next door at Comfort Inn instead. The Motel 6 worker was very nice & helpful. He refunded our stay since we weren't in the room more than 10 minutes. If you can deal with bugs, the price is good. Personally, I'll pay more to be bug free 😉
