I recently visited MHC Urgent Care Foster Family on 11/24/25 With an anaphylactic Allergic reaction. I was brought back into the examination room within five minutes, and I am very impressed with the care provided to me by Katharine Calder PA-C. She promptly evaluated me and started treatment immediately. My symptoms were relieved within minutes and I was shortly there after discharged. Katharine was kind, knowledgeable, compassionate and provided excellent care and I would highly recommend her and this facility! I would also like to thank the receptionist and nurses who were also very kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Thank you for turning a scary situation into a great experience!

Please.. don’t change a thing! Everyone was very kind and courteous.. and took the time to answer my questions. After being sick for 10 days, I didn’t wait 5 minutes to get registered, 10 minutes to get into a room, then I had a nurse assist promptly, then Dr. Jacob Szafranski came in within 10 minutes, ordered x-ray after exam, x-ray tech were also kind and efficient. I live on west side of Traverse City.. I have tried most Urgent Cares in between.. but none compares to Foster Community Urgent Care and it is certainly worth the drive over any convenience.. as I have always been treated kindly, efficiently and professionally. And kudos to the cleaning folks bc everything is spotlessly clean there. You all are #1 in Traverse City in my book and have been for along time. Blessings!

Urgent care on a Saturday during the summer? 😱 It wasn’t bad at all. Staffed with great nurses and a doctor! On the weekend. Efficient, thorough and frankly, pleasant. We’re lucky to have this here, imo.

My primary care physician referred me as they could not get me in during the week. Surprisingly, Saturday early afternoon was a good time to come as only a cpl people being treated. Dr Nicolau was efficient and pleasant, nursing staff very friendly. The facility..urgent care N Foster Family, is fresh and clean, fairly newly decorated.
