I recommend this clinic as well as the Nepean animal clinic where my dog used to go. it is not easy to find a veterinarian who can deal with a dog with fear aggression. I found Dr. Jones and she is amazing. I absolutely trust her with my cat or my dog. She doesn’t push unnecessary procedures or over-vaccinates Especially Older pets. Also You can see that she really cares about the animals. Very empathetic very caring. When you worry about your pet she knows how to make you feel better. Very comforting. She is everything of a veterinarian should be. However….. by our last appointment which I had schedule weeks in advance to make sure Dr Jones was available, my aggressive dog was seen by another vet. What was supposed to be a thorough annual exam of a 11 year old dog, unfortunately turned into a 5 min checkup as my dog was too aggressive with the vet to be touched as he had never seen him before. He was unable to really examine him. No blood work. Not checking his moth/teerh. Only ears. Just growling. Very nice vet though. Just unfortunate that it didn’t go as expected. Life with an aggressive dog 🥴🥴🥴🥴 PS. This appointment was scheduled by a call center agent who called me to schedule an appointment and assured me Dr Jones would be the vet. He made no record of this on the file. Maybe keeping scheduling at the clinic would be a good idea.

When my wife and I got our first cat Butters we struggled to find a vet who treated us and our pet with compassion. Whenever we spoke with the Vet or Vet tech at Chapman Mills Animal Hospital we had all questions answered and felt valued. When we got our second cat Toastie, we knew exactly where to take her for all of her needs. Knowing the Owner runs a local Cat rescue really makes it easy to support this local business as well, (another reason in a long list) We will always take our pets here, we appreciate all the hard work. A massive shout out to Spencer as well, Spencer has been incredibly welcome, from answering all questions to doing the procedure. If you have a new pet, please sign up for the Healthy Start program, it saves you money and gives you peace of mind. We can’t thank Chapman Mills Animal Hospital enough. See you for vaccines next year.

Dr. Jones is the best vet ever! She is siper friendly, so down to earth, non-judgemental & has the kindest soul. She was there for us on two of our saddest days and continues to provide us with a great experience every time with our other pets. Even my Holland lop Karamel didn't mind her too much. 😊 I wish every vet and their staff was like Chapmab Mills!!! ❤️
