WELL Health Medical Centres - Point Grey

I had an appointment with Dr Teskey the other day and was seen a bit earlier than my expected appointment time. Dr. Teskey is very caring, compassionate doctor and I'm grateful that he is my family doctor. He's very thorough and professional. Oh, and the girls in the office are also fantastic.

I’ve visited this clinic last week and my experience with dr smith was quite disappointing. I was trying to explain him my issues of ongoing fever and back pain , instead of listening me he just consider it as a viral . I told him to prescribe a test for me so that I can find out if it is an infection or not. He prescribed the test but till after getting the test done I did not get a call from his office or any email to discuss the report. I called at reception and the lady said she will send you everything on email . But still I haven’t received anything. This is the lack of attention of staff towards the patients and sounds unprofessional.

I love making appointments here with Dr. Bawa! He is really thorough and always listens to my concerns. However I had a bad experience with the receptionist - I had a pretty simple question and she continued to speak over me on the phone, then when I asked a question - she heavily sighed loudly on the phone while I was speaking. Customer service is very important especially in the medical field as you never know what clients are going through and empathy and kindness should always be shown to clients! Especially given our call was only a couple minutes - that's my only negative about my experience at this clinic. Dr. Bawa is great :)
