This place is getting a 2 star review from me. The front desk staff was amazing, she was nice & friendly and if it was just her it would be 5 stars. The Doctor on the other hand... She was rude for absolutely no reason. I usually use Good Doctors but unfortunately they do not have the ability to order MRI's in town. So I came to this walk in with all my ultrasound paperwork, emails & referral/prescription for physio. The e-mail & ultrasound paperwork states that I need an MRI to confirm my injury before scheduling physio. This doctor just kept telling me I need physio and made it an absolute nightmare to get the MRI req. After the 3rd time of her saying I need physio I started to get a little annoyed. I came & sat here for 3 hours for a 5 minute appointment, did my due diligence for bringing in all my paperwork to get talked to like a small child. The tone & attitude was uncalled for and I honestly would have rather waited 12 hours ANY WHERE else to speak to a doctor who is kind and caring. Finally she started asking me the MRI questions so quickly I did not hear half of them so I will make sure to go over them again once I get into the hospital.

I am giving one star because Dr Anthes is wonderful and so are the staff. Unfortunately I went on a Friday and Dr. Dolores was there. Soon as I got in I understood why the wait room was empty. She was so cold and lacked any compassion. Did not even make an effort to see what my issue was. She asked me more about my personal life than my medical history. Whole appointment finished within 5 minutes and I left wondering how in the world she was even licensed. Do go somewhere else if she is there. Totally not worth your time.

Very nice staff! DR. Anthes is one of the best doctors I've come across over the years. He's very polite and after chatting with him for a few minutes it's clear how much he enjoys helping people and honestly just cares. He has helped me many times from having tonsil problems and needing them removed to lung infections and other issues. I'm very confident in his diagnosing and treating abilities. He's one of the good ones in Thunder Bay!
