5-Star ER Experience at White Rock Medical Center I arrived at the White Rock Medical Center ER on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025, around 2 AM, fully expecting the usual chaos of an emergency room—patients everywhere, ambulances rotating in, and staff stretched thin. To my surprise (and relief), the waiting room was calm with only one other patient present. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist, who reassured me that I had made the right decision by coming in. Before I even had the chance to get comfortable, I was called back to triage for a quick assessment. From there, I was taken directly to a room where my nurse, Funmi, immediately began caring for me. From the very start, it was clear I was in excellent hands. After completing her assessments, she told me that Dr. Campbell would be in soon—and she wasn’t exaggerating. He appeared almost instantly, and I couldn’t hide the surprise on my face as I said his name before he even spoke. Dr. Campbell was personable, attentive, and genuinely listened as I explained why I had come in. I could see him thoughtfully working through a plan to get to the bottom of my concerns. Funmi returned shortly after to carry out the tests he ordered, talking me through each step and making sure I felt informed and comfortable. While I still need to follow up on a few health concerns, I left with a generally good bill of health — and, most importantly, some peace of mind. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been under the care of both Funmi and Dr. Campbell. Their efficiency, compassion, and bedside manner were truly top-tier. No one ever hopes to find themselves in an ER, but if I ever need to visit one again—and I’m able to choose—I would absolutely return to White Rock Medical Center. I highly recommend this ER to anyone seeking prompt, caring, and exceptional medical attention.

I went to WR Medical Center 11/6 and I was so pleasantly surprised. They were professional, kind and on point. Dr Russell Hug took time to search for the reason my blood pressure was so high. He changed my prescription and added an antibiotic. Now, my blood pressure is under control and I am so grateful. My nurse Funti was so wonderful. I truly cannot express my appreciation. We all need to utilize our great hospital in our community.

It was good and actually faster than I expected. I am not exactly sure what I was expecting with the stomach issues that I am having. I thought they might admit me. But is what it is. Nothing has changed with my symptoms. The NP said I needed to see a Gi doctor with in a week. My insurance doesn't start until the first. I cant get in to a doctor's office without my insurance and once I get it, I dont know how long it will be until I can get an appointment. I have to suffer with my symptoms until whenever. I am just over 6 weeks with my issues. Last night was one of the worst. But over all it was a good visit.
