I went to Service Canada in Windsor to discuss an employment insurance issue. The lady at the reception desk was wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience changed once I was sent to desk #9. I don’t recall the employee’s name, but she had blonde hair. She was extremely rude and cold throughout the interaction. I was simply trying to ask questions to better understand a decision, but she repeatedly cut me off and made me feel dismissed. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected. What made the situation even worse was that as I walked away, she started laughing with her colleagues. It was an unprofessional and disappointing experience. Service Canada is supposed to be a supportive place for people seeking assistance, but this encounter left me feeling disrespected and upset.

My husband has had several nice people help him the past several weeks at this location. Today we both were there and a very nice young lady named Sharay, helped us very kind and respectful. Thanks again

So unfortunately we don't usually have much good to say about government services based on our years and experiences in the GTA. Often frustrating, time consuming, inconvenient and interactions with employees who don't seem to care. Service Canada Windsor hits at a different level. We walked in on a Tuesday just after lunch with no appointment, to renew our passports. A quick cursory review of our needs at the triage window and we we seated only three spots back in line. Within 10 minutes we were sat as guests in front of Nesrine, (Naz), as she goes by for short. We say guests because that was how we felt we were treated. Totally entertained for the whole visit whilst Nas effeciently processed our applications, it was a delightful visit, made stress free and enjoyable by her light and humerous banter. She is an exemplary model of what makes a customer facing experience memorable and painless. We definitely recommend using this office to handle any of your Service Canada needs. I am secretly hoping they lose my passport so we may go back and visit her again. Lol. Bonus of free parking just a two minute walk from the Casino if you are a rewards member. Nice little coffee and snack bar inside the building with public washrooms. Security was also very pleasant although their set up looks a little unorganized and cluttered, not professional as you would expect for a governmental facility.

The workers are great there. But they need more workers. I was there for almost 3 hours. But there is wifi in the building to use (thankfully). You must go to KIOSK then see a lady at the counter then wait an ETERNITY to get stuff done. Very small waiting area. There are washrooms nearby in the hallway. The office is NOT on the main floor.
