Horrific customer service. After spending £1000s they still do not value you as a customer. I had ordered all my family wedding outfits from them. The last outfits were for my dad and brother. When filtering online, I selected powder blue, and bought this outfit to match my family. Upon receiving you can see the colour is completely different!!!! I messaged them according to their refund policy immediately and their response was “the colour is the same!” They were not willing to help at all and are not complying to their own terms and conditions. They said to me if you want a specific colour you have to tell us, so you’re not actually buying the colour on site?! Absolutely disgusted after spending so much money wi th them that they won’t even offer an exchange. Disgusted

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Pernia’s in London. From start to finish, the service far exceeded my expectations. We ordered five outfits, and every single one was delivered well ahead of schedule, with all alterations completed perfectly and on time. A special thank you to Satnam, who went above and beyond. He helped me select jewellery, and even spent an hour showing me different ways to drape my sari. His knowledge, patience, and friendliness made the whole process a joy. It’s such a treat to find this level of expertise and personal service right here in London. It was incredibly convenient to view the outfits in person and avoid the guesswork of online shopping, especially for something as important as wedding attire. Pernia’s made everything so easy, and I couldn’t be happier! Highly recommend.

Disappointed by the Customer Service – Not Worth the Stress I recently visited Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio in London and, while I must say the clothes are undeniably beautiful and well-presented, the overall experience was incredibly disappointing due to the poor customer service. From the moment I entered, I felt rushed and pressurised by the staff. Rather than allowing me to browse at my own pace, I was constantly being pushed to look at specific pieces, followed by persistent nudging to make a purchase. It created a very uncomfortable atmosphere. To make matters worse, there was an ongoing dispute in the store involving another customer trying to sort out their measurements, and the way the staff handled it was appalling. The assistants were rude and dismissive, showing no empathy or professionalism whatsoever. It was genuinely off-putting and soured the entire visit. After leaving, I decided to check more reviews and realised that poor customer service seems to be a recurring theme at this location. I’m incredibly relieved that I chose not to go through with a purchase. Beautiful clothing is not enough to make up for such a negative in-store experience. Would not recommend unless major improvements are made to their customer service.

I visited a few places that stock Seema Gujral, but Pernia’s in London stood out for a couple of key reasons. First, they actually had the designer come into the store, which made the experience feel much more personal and elevated. Second, the staff at Pernia’s are not only friendly and professional, but they also communicate very well with designers, which really helped ensure everything was prepared exactly how I wanted. I personally needed my lehenga to be ready two weeks before my wedding reception. Even though I left it close to the date, I had full confidence in Pernia’s and they didn’t disappoint. I also had some weight loss closer to the event, and they quickly arranged the tailoring and had the altered blouse delivered to me. That’s the kind of reliability and service that makes a huge difference during wedding prep. Highly recommend for any bride-to-be looking for a seamless experience with designer wear!
