Extremely Disappointing Stay – Not Safe, Not Worth the Price The room was much smaller than the standard size, yet the charges were higher compared to other hotels. We were three guests, and although an extra mattress was provided, the bed quality was terrible. The bedsheets were smelly as if they had not been changed, and the pillows were dirty with an unpleasant odor. The worst part was the behavior of the reception staff. We had another friend who initially planned to leave the hotel after a few hours and not stay overnight. However, his plans changed around 1:00 a.m., and he decided to stay. The receptionist became extremely irritating, repeatedly calling and disturbing us at night, demanding his ID and insisting on extra payment. Even after we provided the ID, they refused to give an extra mattress but still demanded ₹500 just for him to stay in the room. This constant disturbance made the entire night stressful. It is unacceptable to be charged extra without providing any additional facilities, and the repeated late-night calls showed a complete lack of professionalism and respect for guests’ comfort. Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding this hotel. It does not feel safe, the staff are unprofessional, and the service quality is far below the amount they charge.

Terrible Experience – Not a Safe or Professional Hotel I had an extremely bad experience at Persona Hotel, Delhi, and I strongly advise against booking this hotel—especially for solo travelers or women. I made a 3-night booking through Agada and paid the full amount in advance. On the morning of my travel (March 8th), I called the hotel to confirm my reservation, and they confirmed that my room was booked under my name (Chetna). I also informed them that I would be arriving late at night, and they assured me there was no issue. However, when I landed in Delhi around 11:30 PM and was heading to the hotel at 1 AM, I had trouble locating it. I called the hotel for guidance, but to my shock, they suddenly claimed there was no booking under my name! I told them I had called earlier, and they had confirmed my booking, but they rudely said there were no rooms available and told me not to come. Stranded in Delhi at 1 AM with nowhere to go, I had no choice but to reach the hotel anyway. When I arrived, they again refused my booking and told me they don’t accept Agada bookings anymore. If that was the case, then why was the hotel still listed on Agoda? The worst part? They demanded extra money for a room despite my full payment already being made. With no other options at that hour, I had to pay them extra just to get a room. Once I reached my room, they pressured me to lie to Agoda, saying I stayed somewhere else so I could get a refund. This shows how dishonest and unprofessional they are. The next morning, they even denied my complimentary breakfast and said I needed to pay extra. When I told them I would vacate the hotel immediately, they suddenly changed their stance and offered me the breakfast. This hotel is not safe for women, highly unprofessional, and a scam. They take bookings, deny them at check-in, and then force guests to pay extra at odd hours when they have no other options. I do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. If you’re thinking of booking here, avoid it at all costs!
