We had a good experience overall at this hotel. It had clean rooms and an amazing view of the harbor. The highlight of our stay was the service we received at the Blue Crab restaurant and Bar. The restaurant and bar staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. The drinks were good and food was exceptional, all with an amazing view of the harbor. At the restaurant and bar, it was an elevated experience with excellent service from John our favorite bartender and Sean as well. The shuttle service was also a benefit. The shuttle, easily dropping us off at Chinatown and picking us up from Irish Times and bringing us back to the hotel. Very sorry to hear that 90 staff members are striking for better livable wages. They deserve to be paid for the exceptional service that they provided to us and to all hotel guests daily.

A few pros and cons:|Pros:|Beautiful hotel & view.|Right next to fisherman’s wharf |Clean room, comfortable bed, quiet, no issues there at all.||Cons:|Instead of a $100 refundable hold they charged $1,038. It’s been over 2 weeks since we checked out of the hotel and it’s still pending on my card. I’ve called and was told to just wait. |The day we checked into the hotel, their staff went on strike for better working conditions and protested right outside the hotel. I fully support those employees and hated that we had no idea about this before booking there. If it was easy and free to change hotels last minute, I would have. To hotel management & owners: it takes a lot for employees to go on strike, which means they are NOT being treated fairly. The restaurant being closed (was going to have my 40th birthday dinner there), no housekeeping, and only having 1 working elevator is not the fault of the employees, it’s the fault of management not creating an environment where people earn a living wage, have safe working conditions, and feel appreciated. Inconveniencing guests who pay good money with specific expectations is a failure on management. I HOPE management has acknowledged this and met the needs of their hard working employees. If not, management/owners need to step into those positions and role their sleeves up so they get a reminder of what it’s like to do backbreaking work for minimum wage. |Coast Victoria staff: keep advocating for yourself 👏🏼

It was a decent experience here. The last couple of days there was a strike and the workers walked off the job. So we didn't get our room turned over. The restaurant was closed, however the pool was still open so the kids still enjoyed. They gave out muffins and snacks which is appreciated. Disappointed considering the price we paid per night that the staff feels underpaid. I hope that they resolve that soon. The location is prestene we had a balcony view of the ocean which we loved. Room was a bit small but it was clean.

We got the premium king room and the view was amazing. Easy to check in, the staff was kind. Especially the evening shuttle driver, he’s great!|They offer a text function to ask for housekeeping which is handy. However on day 2 we noticed a brown stain on the comforter (that’s covered by a loose sheet. We texted the number they reassured us they would change out the comforter. We got back to our room and the bed was made nicely so we didn’t look. They sent us two 10 dollar vouchers as an I’m sorry. That was nice, we moved on enjoyed our stay. We just assumed they followed through changing the comforter. ||Until the last day when doing our check to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind, and we noticed the exact stain was still there. We had been sleeping for three nights using a dirty comforter with an unknown brown stain. Just gross. |For 500 dollars a night, that is not acceptable. |When we tried to text the number to discuss this, we received no further replies. |When I showed the picture to the front desk on check out they were genuinely disgusted as well.
