Property on 32 W King St is easily the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in - made worse by the fact that landlords/management/front office never answers. I’ve got a collection of phone numbers they claim I can call to speak with someone, but it takes weeks and multiple voicemails to ever hear back. Here’s a fun collection of issues I’ve had in my 8 months here: - Big puddle of dog piss in the stairwell just wasn’t cleaned up for at least 24 hours (have also seen throwup, chicken bones, spilled drinks) - Whole building smells like garbage - Heating was barely effective in the winter, leaving my son’s room cold overnight and our electric bill insane - Ceiling tile just fell down in our closet (due to some crumbling drywall from the actual building), coating our belongings in fiberglass - Whole front door of the building was broken off a hinge, barely hanging on and certainly not keeping anyone out - Braindead parking lot design which forces me to squeeze within inches of my neighbor’s car to get into my assigned spot - When we first moved in and ran some laundry, our apartment flooded (while much of our stuff was still in boxes, and got soaked). We discovered this was because the entire hose into the washing machine just WASN’T CONNECTED - Currently, there’s a leak in our bathroom which is soaking our ceiling tiles and letting dirty nasty stinky water in the tub where we bathe our kids. It’s an issue with the tenants above us, not something maintenance can fix. It’s been going on for at least a month and I’ve actually gotten a call from management exactly once (and it’s still a problem). To be clear, the actual maintenance team is great. They communicate well, show up fast, and often fix the issue. It’s just some issues come back again and again, or can’t be solved by the maintenance team alone. There is an office employee Latoya who is wonderful as well, but if you need to speak with anyone higher up good luck. - Christian, Apt 9

I recently moved into my second property through Yohn and i couldn't be happier. They have always been a tremendous help with service requests and any other issues I've had over the years. If you live in the downtown York area i highly recommend seeing what they have available.

Living at a Yohn Property building was a wonderful experience for me. Being new to the area, the property managers were very friendly and welcoming and willing to give me tips about my new surroundings. The apartments are amazing. The conversion of old manufacturing buildings into living spaces gives the places such character and a real cozy feeling. Hardwoods floors, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick...truly beautiful. Friends and family loved visiting my apartment more than me! My experience with Tricia and Graham Will, the property managers, exceeded my expectations. Anytime I needed something addressed they took care of it immediately. My experience with them and Yohn Properties was so fantastic I recommended the group to my cousin who is moving to town next month. I'm not one to recommend things that I don't believe in or that I wouldn't experience myself. I've lived in many rentals in my life and by far my experience with Yohn Properties has been the best. If you are looking for a fabulous place to live with great neighbors, building amenities, and an overall homey feeling I highly suggest Yohn Properties.

My fiancé and I have lived in the Linden Lofts for two years. It has been the absolute best experience. Our one bedroom apartment itself was beautiful; new appliances, original hard-wood floors, and filled with charming character. The amenities that came along with living here were added bonuses- two community courtyards with grills, a relaxing roof-top deck, and a fitness room- all in which we took full advantage of. You truly can not beat the price you will pay while living here along with everything that comes with it. We loved being so close to Downtown York! Not to mention, the staff is friendly and always willing to help. Anytime we had a question, it would be answered in a timely manner. I would recommend living here to everyone and anyone. The Linden Lofts has truly felt like home and we are so thankful for the time we have spent here.
