Zizzi - Port Solent

Solid 4 star experience - good food, a bit noisy but it was Friday evening. Was a really good night out with my family. Make sure you get the zizzi app to make things better value.

I normally think that Zizzis’ is a great place but today was absolutely horrendous. I was seated at my booking time at 18;30 and the waiter came to see us for the first time after 35 minutes. It was just under an hour before our drinks arrived. It took more than 50 minutes for our starter to arrive. The only thing from saving this as a 1 star was the food which was great! The problem however is this should be an evening out to enjoy and relax, this was anything but. The service was not great, the wait time terrible and the manager on duty did not seem to assist with tables until it became quieter. Overall not a great experience and I think more training is needed from front of house!

Sat outside in the sun with visiting friends who are gluten free. Focus served us and was extremely helpful helping them choose their lunch. I had pepperoni pizza off the two course lunch menu for £14.95. It was huge after picking at a bowl of cheeky olives as a starter I was well and truly full. Great service and good food.
