I don't even know where to start. Getting an appointment on the same day is a challenge. I called at exactly 8 AM and was already 8th in line. I honestly donāt know how the older generation manages, as they may not be as quick with phone calls. My daughter fainted, and my appointment was a complete waste of timeāno proper checks were done. I even had to make the referral myself because apparently, thatās not the doctorās responsibility. My husband almost ended up on a drip in the hospital due to a severe throat infection. The GP practice turned him down three times, saying it wasnāt urgent. He lost so much weight and got to the point where he struggled to breathe. How bad does a condition have to get before they prescribe the appropriate medication? Over the past three years, this practice has gone downhill due to a complete lack of care. After my appointment yesterday with the new GP, I finally decided to leave the practice for good. Honestly, youāre better off calling 111āthatās the advice theyāll give you anyway, if you're lucky enough to even get an appointment.
Horrible experience. Was 7 minutes late to my appointment , tried phoning to at least let them know but was given the 101 different options to select and then couldnāt actually get through to an actual human being on the line. Got into the practice just to be turned away as all the staff had āleftā and that I was more than 3 minutes late. I had an appointment booked for the removal of a contraception device that has been affecting my health a lot⦠but even when I was in tears the receptionist was so dismissive and rude and said that I had to rebook (baring in mind I had booked the rest of the week off work to recover!!!) The worst thing is the dr running the clinic who I was meant to see, rang me the next day and was confused as to why I was turned away as SHE WAS STILL THERE and I was the last pt of the day. š¤¦š¼āāļø
Terrible service. My wife was going through a mental health crisis and we were told by 111 to call her gp. We were 18th in the queue at 08:00 and when we got through we were told there was no more appointments for the day and to call 111. Even though mental health is meant to be a priority in the NHS, they practice just turned her away and had left us trying to find alternative routes. Really feel let down by their service and are now moving my wife to a new practice.
I wanted to provide some feedback regarding recent blood test experiences at the clinic. While I understand that these procedures can be uncomfortable at times, Iāve noticed that, on occasion, the level of discomfort has been higher than expected. I fully recognise the challenges of the process and the care provided by the staff, but I would appreciate it if more attention could be given to minimising discomfort during the procedure, which could enhance the overall patient experience. Thank you for your understanding and continued commitment to patient care. Sincerely, A Concerned Patient
