Customer experiences
Will start by saying the stay was fine for us; we only require a bed and working shower. For most people, the marginal cleanliness, poorly maintained facilities and very dated decor would be showstoppers. For example, I bought a dish brush on the second day to clean the fins on the AC so it would be marginally functional. I think the filter disappeared sometime during the Clinton administration. We were there in the shoulder season so can’t comment on noise or crowding- the place was nearly deserted. Some positives are nice grounds and handy location. Need a low priced room and have minimal requirements? This might be your place. Anyone else? Definitely not.
We spent a few wonderful days at this hotel with our family. It’s small, very cozy, and spotlessly clean – everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The staff welcomed us with warmth and respect, always ready to help and answer any questions. The atmosphere is so friendly that you immediately feel at home. Excellent service, a peaceful environment, and kind people around made our stay truly pleasant and memorable. We will definitely come back again and recommend it to our friends!
Place is very no frills, but had everything needed. Fridge, microwave, A/C good. Water pressure and hot water good also. Definitely a great location and value for the area. Area was quiet. Staff was quite helpful and attentive. Trash was emptied and bed was made when we were out. Did not expect a small place like this to provide turndown services. Would return.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel! It's not super fancy, so if that's what you're looking for this might not be the place for you, but it was comfortable, clean, peaceful and had everything we needed as a place to hang our hat between adventures. It's close to everything on the Outer Cape, and very reasonably priced. Fresh towels and wash cloths were supplied every day, and I also appreciated the decent sized fridge in the room with a freezer that had enough room for the ice packs for the cooler and a generous fridge space that held several bottles and cans. Having the outdoor area to sit with a few chairs and a small table was a nice touch as well -- it made for a relaxing place to have breakfast before we set out for the day. We would definitely stay again!
