Big Spring Inn Madisonville

When I arrived at this property, I was sceptical about staying because there were not many cars in the parking lot. I checked in anyway. The hotel holds a $50 security deposit and there's an ATM machine in the front. (It charges $3). The room was very large,clean, and decorated really pretty. There's coffee available in the room as well. I had no actual problems with the hotel itself. The occupant in the room next to me decided to talk loudly on his cellular device in front of my door. This hotel needs a security officer to make rounds on the property to keep things peaceful and quiet. I took away 1 star/GREEN circle for the NOISY NEIGHBOR. The hotel itself is great, and I'll book again soon.

I’m not even sure how to explain the experience we had here.. all I can say is choose a different hotel in cave city. I’ve never been treated so badly at a hotel. Jake was the most negative person I’ve ever dealt with through out my travels.. I would go into details but I’m too exhausted… if you want to know more please message me. Happy trails everyone! ✌️

Very easy check in, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great, close to the cave. Water pressure to the shower was awesome. I will definitly stay here again on our return trip to Mammoth Cave.
