This has been a terrible experience. I got my key on Saturday August 23 and when I checked out my room later (as I went to drive around the gorge first) the room (102) was extremely musty smelling and the bedding was damp. All the sheets, pillows etc felt wet / damp. I noticed a fan was also going when I got in the room. I ended up putting my key in their drop box that might leaving and finding another place to stay in Lexington. My mom left a message Saturday night on the emergency line and so did I, no call back yet. I tried calling again today and can’t even get to the voicemail. I see someone else had an issue with room 102 as well. At this point I’ve heard nothing and have been charged the full amount. Just an update as of 8/26 I did receive a call finally after emailing. The person I spoke to was very nice and is asking about doing a refund. Update. I did end up being refunded for 3 out of 4 nights which I appreciate and they were apologetic, however at this time would not recommend staying here

Two couples spent the night here, and we arrived on a Sunday. The motel office is not at the lodge, the owners took that Sunday off, and our keys were waiting for us outside the office. Our room was very nice, clean, and the beds were comfy. The bathroom's soap is about the size of a nickel so do not expect it to last long. Our friends' room had one bath towel for two people and a dirty washrag on top of the shower stall. There was no one to call to report this or to ask for extra towels, so they had to make do. But they do have internet now. There is no elevator so make sure you can carry luggage up the stairs or ask for a first-floor room.

Highly disappointed with the entire room. There was hair on every bath towel and not enough for the whole room. There was a used washcloth left in the shower. The soap and shampoo was laughably small and not enough for 4 people. The air conditioner couldn’t keep up with the room it was musty and it was extremely loud and inconsistent all night. We found more hair in the sink and shower as well. Clearly this was not cleaned at all. There is no cell service so no way to call anyone to get anything corrected. None of my family slept well and we almost just went to our car to sleep. Zero stars if I could. Called the next day and they wouldn’t fully refund either after an awful night so zero stars for the customer service as well. Will never come back or recommend.

We stayed in room 102. When we arrived there was a very strong cleanser/chemical smell, that we thought would go away. The floor was sticky and the mini fridge struggled to get cold due to the ice build up. The location was great. We walked across the street and had good BBQ and looked at a couple shops, but as we got back to the room and through out the night that smell got worse! We think it was coming from the AC unit. It was horrible! As soon as the sun was up, we packed up and would not recommend this place. I will say the ladies managing the lodge was very apologetic and nice about us not staying our full reservation.
