Customer experiences
We were looking for a budget friendly hotel with decent amenities and a safe location to be within 1/2 hour oaf Sleepy Hollow/Tarrytown in October, when it is crazy busy. I try to stay with Days Inn Wyndham locations because I have never been disappointed. We stayed in a business suite. Pros of this hotel: It was it was a very convenient location near lots of food/gas/shopping, it was nice and quiet, the outside and parking area was well lit at night, beds were amazingly comfortable, it had a brand new big screen TV, and the room was budget priced around $150-160 per night for the weekend compared to $200-$300 per night elsewhere. Also free coffee/juice and breakfast item daily. Cons: Jets in tub didn’t work and there was a large step to get into the tub so it may be hard for some, although there was a wall handle) light fixtures and furniture was dated and some lights/outlets didn’t work. There was quite a bit of traffic noise even though we were in the back lot. Room could have used a deeper cleaning (outlet covers/ lampshades, upholstery on chairs, and grout were dirty) although I want to be clear— the beds and linens were immaculate! I wasn’t too upset about the cons—because I felt like I got what I paid for and I was happy to find a safe, comfortable place to stay within my budget!
This is a pretty decent hotel for the price. Me and my oldest son stayed a couple of weeks and we have to say this place is very quiet and clean. The staffs are very welcoming always with a smile and willing to help. There is a bus five minutes away that take you to the Port Authority at 42nd Street. There's a restaurant next to the hotel, also nearby you can find a Shake Shack, McDonald's, Popeyes, Chipotle, etc. The only downside is that the swimming pool and the fitness center are closed since the pandemic.
I just wanted to say thank you — you all were awesome! Jerry went above and beyond, both the manager and Jerry were fantastic. You really made my stay enjoyable, and I just wanted you to know I appreciate you're a thoughtfulness consideration while I was there making things much easier. Have a great day guys forever need to get back that way I'll definitely be there. Thanks again for everything! Joe D.
It’s a loud area so near the highway. Room is adequate and for allowing dogs ($20 per night) it’s very clean. Good beds and linens. It’s a pretty low budget place with no coffee maker, but a good sized fridge and microwave. Coffee in office in AM, but little else. For one night, tho, it was very convenient and we’ve stayed there before and probably will again. Staff is always excellent!
