The only thing good about this hotel is the location. Tried checking in at another local Woodspring hotel where the elevator wasn't working and had someone with me who couldn't climb stairs. This was the second terrible experience with this hotel chain in a single day. Asked to use the bathroom in the lobby before checking in and was told no. Then was given keys to a room that was already occupied. Had to once again deal with the front desk who seemed to be bothered having to resolve that issue. Saw roaches in the hallway, and the room was absolutely nasty. It wasn't cleaned properly, there was obvious leak damage on the ceiling. Even for a "budget" hotel, this place is not worth it. I've stayed at multiple Choice hotels and this Woodspring brand is indeed the worst I've ever encountered. This was a last minute option, and I fully regret choosing them. And it appears that they don't care as reading previous reviews, it's been like this for a long time. Should have read those before booking this room, that's on me.
Worst spot ever. Elevator smelled so gross. Loud people until late at night. No lamp just very bright lights. And ROACHES! Big ones and small ones. All by the bed , the kitchen, inside cabinets. I kept smashing them with toilet paper. Bathroom looks like someone hired a five year old to slap up some molding around the bathtub and paint the walls. It really is a place that's falling apart. I was staying in room 226. I don't ever write reviews on anything but I had to on this one. Once roaches lay eggs into anything of yours, almost game over . So do Laundry after every stay at any motel or hotel, you just never know. Good thing about this place though is the kitchen. Had a little stove up but the bad thing about that is, there is no ventilation so the smoke has nowhere to go unless the fan on the microwave counts. But yeah, not worth the Roches . Wash wash wash EVERYTHING!
My friend and I stayed in this hotel last night and were appalled by the conditions of the rooms. When we entered our first room (327) we were met with giant cockroach on the wall, a terrible smell from the fridge, and black dots and stains on the bedding. When we went to the front desk, the man was kind and apologized and we were given a new “QA” room (433). While on the way to the room, we were met with another cockroach on the wall of the hallway. Again, the sheets were stained, the toilet did not flush, there was no toilet paper, and the fridge had a mysterious sticky substance all over the shelves. If this had not transpired at 12/1 AM we would have packed up and found a different hotel. Unfortunately we had just drove for 9 hours and were both too exhausted to drive anywhere further. We requested new sheets and made the most of it. I woke up this morning to feeling itchy and disgusted. I wanted to reach out to let you know the conditions of the hotel your guests are staying in and hope this will prevent future guests from wanting to shower with bleach and burn their clothes.
