We arrived as a walk-in patient, yet were passed in line by two other walk-ins. My son was being treated for strep throat, and while he received care, he was not given an excuse for the days he had already missed. The staff explained that their policy only allows excuses for the day seen and going forward. I understand policies exist, but strep doesn’t develop overnight—it’s clear he had been sick for several days. I want to share this experience so others know this urgent care may lack flexibility and compassion when someone is clearly unwell. Sometimes patients wait a few days before seeking care, and the staff should understand that, especially when it involves illnesses like strep that require timely antibiotics.

I had an object in my ear. And as soon as I could get there was 7:45 PM. So I was afraid they wouldn't take me because they close at 8:00. But they took me in and I was out of there by 7:59. They did very well, there was no hassle. Friendly service.

I did the online check in, it was fast and painless. Front office person real friendly and treats you with respect. Doc very knowledgeable and had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend this Urgent Care facility.

I want to take a moment to express my appreciation to the ladies at the DeRidder and Leesville Fast Pace Health Centers for the outstanding service I received recently. The timely responses to my authorizations was impressive, and I am grateful for how quickly I was able to be seen. Everyone, from the reception desk to the technicians in the back, to the doctors, I want to commend them for the kindness they showed me. Their knowledge and expertise were evident, and they handled everything with great courtesy. It made a challenging situation much easier to navigate.
