I can’t say enough good things about my visit to Lourdes Urgent Care. From the moment I walked in, everyone I met was amazing. The front desk was welcoming and quick to get me checked in. The sweet young lady who came in before the nurse practitioner was so kind and put me completely at ease. The nurse practitioner took the time to really listen, and the nurse that gave me my tetanus shot was gentle and reassuring. Every single person made me feel cared for, and I left feeling truly grateful. Thank you for turning an urgent care visit into such a positive experience!

I have been to this location numerous times since I live in Carencro, but my most recent visit was absolutely terrible. Dr. Chey Aymond made my visit like it was an inconvenience for her and the visit itself was less than 2 minutes long. I have been struggling with ear problems and sinus issues for the past 2 weeks. She walked in and asked what’s wrong and proceeded to check my ear. She said my ear was fine, but did not ask what medications I had been taking nor any of my symptoms. She kept talking over me and told me what medications I should be taking. I told her all of the medications she just listed I’ve been taking already and they’re not working. She did not offer to test me for the flu, COVID, or anything. She looked at my file and assumed I had a sinus infection back in August which was not true. There were more symptoms than just for a sinus infection. I did not even get to tell her about everything I’ve been experiencing before she walked out. It was very disappointing and I ultimately got prescribed antibiotics (which I expected anyway). My after care visit on MyChart shows she put negative for cough (which I would’ve told her I’d been coughing if she listened). The whole experience just felt very rushed and if I’m going to pay $60 for a visit, I would expect to be listened to. As I’ve stated previously, I’ve been to this location before, but never with this doctor. It was very disappointing overall and I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone.

The receptionist and nurse setting up my appointment were professional, patient, and kind. The medical professional, however, said I should have come in sooner, since at 5 pm, she couldn’t refer me to another doctor. I went in seeking care, since I figured I would not have been able to get in to see my own doctor at 4:30 in the afternoon when I left work. I was referred to another health care provider to see within 24 hours, but when I contacted them, they did not take my insurance, so I didn’t go to them. I was given information about what to do to ease symptoms, and also symptoms to watch for that would indicate the need to visit the emergency room.

I went to Lourdes Urgent Care with my granddaughter after experiencing cold symptoms. We were quickly checked in to see the Dr. within a short time we were in a room being seen. The Dr and nurse were kind, quick, informative and above all listened to any concerns I had. They answered all my questions and and I was on my way home in a very short amount of time! I would recommend Lourdes Urgent Care Carencro highly!
