Hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but did not hear any construction noise. No highway noise. The room was very clean. Comfortable beds, firm pillows. Decent continental breakfast. Staff very friendly. Would stay here again

The only protein available was the hard boiled eggs, which I can't eat. A tray of sausage or bacon would have gone a long way. There was a roach crawling in the bread container when my husband went to get a bagel for me. Also, since renovations were going on, we figured we would not be charged for having our dog with us because she couldn't destroy anything more than it was. I was extremely disappointed to find a charge to our credit card which I did not authorize. If I had known, I would have disputed it then. The room, hallways, etc. were disgusting. Notice of the renovations did not show up until after I informed the front desk that had we known, we would not have booked our stay there. When I asked about what time the workmen started, I was informed that it was early, not to worry. Ummm, I'm not on vacation to be awoken by workmen's hammers or saws.

The front desk staff was very nice, but literally the second we opened the door to our room, we saw a roach scurrying around. We said NO THANKS and immediately went back to the front desk and told them. They were very courteous and understanding and immediately refunded the room, apologized, and wished us a good evening. It definitely felt like this is something that happens a lot.

Positive: "" Negative: The rooms we got were not fully furnished and there was a musty smell. Fine, it's a discount hotel and we just needed beds for the night. But 8 a.m. Sunday morning there was construction above us. Relentless noise. We left 2 hours earlier than planned.
