Motel 6 Framingham, MA - Boston West

Place looked nice but they wouldn’t let me check in and charged me anyway. Made my reservation a week in advance, showed up to an empty office (well within the advertised check-in hours). Rang the bell, called the phone number, waited for a half hour, walked around calling out, no response. After so many repeated tries finding someone to check me in, I gave up and drove around looking for another hotel. Then a few days later, I saw the charge on my credit card - they charged me for a room they wouldn’t let me check into. I’m lucky it was only a one-night stay. The pretty pictures, good reviews, and low prices are enticing, but they don’t mean anything when you have to stay in another hotel anyway.

The room was amazing. This was my first time in Hyannis and I wanted to stay close to the beach which is why we stayed here. The beach is about a 5 minute walk away. My only point of contention was how small the shower was and how messy the floor got after I showered. If you’re a tall person beware. Other than this really no complaints! Also the bed was super comfortable and check in and out was very easy. Thank you for enhancing my vacation experience! The rooftop deck was nice as well and there’s a nice yard full of chairs and a gazebo.

I had a great stay and the owner was very helpful even though I had to check in at 11 pm. The place was like staying at Grandma's house. It's a bit dated, tacky, and honestly a little ugly. Wallpaper was definitely in style 30 years ago. But that's what made it charming and I wouldn't change a thing about it. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel and write bad reviews for any minor imperfection, this isn't the place for you. But if you want somewhere no-frills that's clean, quiet, affordable (❗❗), charming, and close to the beach then this place is perfect.
