Customer experiences
it was ok. you get what you pay for as one of the cheapest hotels in the area (70$/night). the advertising pictures on hotel sites are sort of deceiving unfortunately. - the good: extremely kind & understanding staff, the corvette theme is cute, ac works very well, room gets nice and dark when the curtains are fully closed, room smelled nice, indoor pool & hot tub, working refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, i enjoyed the reading lights and plenty of lamps, it's in a good location for going to the caves and having plenty of restaurants & activities in a nice short range, and accommodations were provided and easy to request more if needed. - the bad: bed was extremely hard/uncomfortable, thin blankets (one with a burn hole), pillows were flat so we needed extras to sleep comfortably, ac hums loudly, no breakfast, room was sort of dirty and not well maintained, furniture is very beat up, and i did see a couple bugs in the bathroom scurry under the wall on the last day. (not sure if roaches but either way they need taken care of and i made sure to wash our stuff immediately when arriving home.) rooms also aren't "soundproof", an insane couple nextdoor was getting violent & screaming/crying from their 2am check in into the next day and we could hear almost every word. it was quite disturbing but we notified staff and they were very kind and did what they could. not hotel's fault of course but it made us very very nervous. please keep in mind if you're yelling literally everyone can hear you. went here on our anniversary vacation to the caves so i do wish it was a bit better, our trip in general was amazing so the room was the most lackluster part of the trip to be real but at least it was the only negative i suppose. it could be greatly improved upon with better management and more care. its probably fine for the price if you just need a place to stay for a night but it wasn't fantastic to be completely honest, I really would've preferred a cleaner and more maintained room for a 3 day vacay.
You know I just wanted to say that this hotel is one of the best hotels here in Bowling Green Kentucky to stay at. I remember back a long time ago when I was little this hotel was ringing down. Yes there’s some odds and ends that needs to be fixed like I was seeing last night that one of the glasses on in the swimming pool area is missing maybe knocked out or something like that That needs to be fixed but other than that the rooms is like really nice for a standard hotel I have been in a lot of hotels and distance and overall is the best one ever
The hallway smelled awful. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and disgusting. The room was in bad shape very old outdated and not the cleanest. There were stains in the carpet and curtains. The bed and sheets appeared to be clean. The pool area was like a sauna 120 degrees. It also smelled like sewer and there was literally trash floating in the water. As we were packing up to leave a huge cockroach came out from under the dresser. I took pics and showed the lady at the front desk. All she would do is give me $100 back on the $440 we paid for 2 nights. I highly recommend not staying there !!!!!!!!!!!! I have pictures but it won't let me post them..
The hallway smelled horrible, the carpet was disgusting. The room was very outdated and in bad shape. The sheets appeared to be clean. The indoor pool area was so hot we couldn't stand it. There was no ventilation and it smelled like sewer. There was also trash floating in the pool. Water bottles and stickers among other things too. When we were packing up our things to leave a HUGE cockroach ran out from under the dresser. I took pictures of it and went to the front desk. All she would offer me was $100 back. We paid $440 for 2 nights there.
