We love Maple Terrace and stay there whenever we're in Williamstown. We've recommended it to others who also are now big fans of this motel. The location is great, in the beautiful Berkshires, walking distance to Williams College, close to The Clark, and on the main road but set back so there is no road noise. The grounds are simply gorgeous, and the back area includes picnic tables, a sparkling clean heated pool (motel has pool towels available on request), and (new to us this visit) a lovely firepit (which can be turned on by request). This is an old-fashioned drive-up-to-your-door motel, which is fun. The rooms are well appointed (nice bed, writing table, TV, small table with 2 chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board), a decent size, and clean as a whistle. The bathroom is small and also super clean and, at least in our room this visit, was updated recently. The owners are lovely and eager to make your stay comfortable. We haven't ever tried their breakfast, which starts at 7am, because we have always needed to leave earlier. This place really is a gem; don't miss it if you're in the area.

An absolutely charming family run lodge. Not too fancy, not too sparse. Pleasant hosts. The complimemtary cinnamon rolls were a nice touch and the continental breakfast spread was appreciated!! So reasonably priced and conveniently located. Perfect for our needs.

Well-appointed, spacious, and sparkling clean rooms. The pool provided a perfect place to relax and refresh after a long drive. Manicured grounds with plenty of outdoor seating and a firepit, drew me outside to read and enjoy watching the horses on the beautiful adjacent farm. I appreciated the bike rack, as I brought two bikes. There was an ample variety of breakfast foods, and trays to carry breakfast outside or to the room. I appreciated every little touch, especially all the flower planters.

Everything from start to finish was lovely at Maple Terrace. We stayed here after going to MASS MoCA. Our son loved the complimentary treats in our room (cinnamon rolls and Hershey kisses). The pool was so nice, clean, and refreshing. We enjoyed watching the horses while we swam. There was even a poolside basketball hoop and inner tubes to enjoy. Everything you need while you're away from home was available. An added benefit is parking right in front of your room. Very convenient for unloading and loading belongings. The owners were very nice and welcomed us kindly. Every part of the motel was immaculate. You can tell the property is well cared for and clean. Breakfast had many options including: fresh fruit, a variety or cereals, yogurt, breads, all of the toppings (peanut butter, cream cheese, butter, jam/jelly), slices of bread (banana nut and lemon). The property also has a fire pit, corn hole, picnic tables, and many comfortable chairs to relax in and take in the calm. The motel seemed full which is always a good sign, but it was not loud or crowded. Our stay was relaxing and very comfortable. An affordable, clean, welcoming motel like Maple Terrace is a true gem! Do not hesitate booking a stay here.
