Customer experiences
Just left this little hidden gem after a short trip up to Cape Cod, the owner was so welcoming and kind. This is a small family run business, and it's obvious he has put his heart and soul into this Motel. The rooms, our lovely and very clean and the decor is bright and cheery! The best part, is this place is located next to everything. You don't have to use your car at all. Downtown Falmouth, Main Street is only a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants and shops your heart will desire! The owner's communication skills are awesome. Every time we had a little issue, he was right there to fix it! You can't go wrong, staying at this Motel!
We needed a stop over for the night and this Motel was very handily located and also at a great price. Often some of the budget Hotels can be very tired and not that clean. This place however was spotlessly clean and tidy, clearly very well run and saved us quite a bit of money compared to some other locals places. More than happy to stay again when in the area.
My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to stay at the Mariner Motel for a first time visit to Falmouth last week. We stayed for 7 nights. We chose this motel based on the price, location and reviews. This motel is located in the center of Falmouth just a 10 minute walk from all the great restaurants and shops that are on Main Street and also walking distance to the Island Queen Ferry to Martha's Vineyard. The room was great. It was very clean and the daily housekeeping staff tidied up the room everyday. All the rooms are on the ground floor which leaves you steps from your car. The motel was pretty busy but very quiet. The rooms have been remodeled recently so any comments over a couple of years old are not indicative of how the motel looks now. There is a nice size pool. We didn't get to use it because the weather was not so great but it looked clean. I would recommend the Mariner Motel to anyone who is visiting the Falmouth area. As mentioned, it was very clean, affordable and the location was great. We cannot wait to visit again!
I was traveling solo for a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard and wanted a hotel near the off-site Palmer Avenue parking lots for the ferry (which leaves from Woods Hole). The Mariner Hotel fit that bill exactly - it’s a few minutes drive to the lots.||I arrived in the evening with no reservation (after checking the website to see if it still listed vacancies). The man in the office asked if I was alone and just staying one night. My answers (and I assume my appearance - middle aged Black woman) satisfied him so he rented to me (I did feel like he was assessing me and my situation). ||I was able to park right outside my room door. The room was SUPER cute and very clean, especially the bathroom. The bed was AWFUL. It made loud noises every time I moved, as though the headboard and frame connection was damaged. I barely slept. ||I didn’t report this to the front office because it was already late and I had already unpacked. Were it not for the bed and the “interview” to stay, the would be a four star review.||The price was reasonable.
Rosewood Motel is a motel.
