Scheduled my apt on line roughly 2 hours prior to scheduled time. There were many available openings, so i pick a time that best fit my day. Filled out all paperwork online as well. When I arrived for my time, I waited around 10 min passed my scheduled apt and was in and out in 15 minutes. Staff was friendly, helpful, and took care of my needs rather than pushed me out so they could get to the next person. Highly recommend doing everything online prior to arriving.

Excellent patient care from start to finish. Check in was easy and smooth, and the front desk employee even offered myself and my toddler snacks while we had a pretty brief wait. Our rad tech, Abe, was phenomenal - absolutely terrific with kids and made the xray process not only easy but fun and a cool learning experience for my 3 year old. The provider was also great with my little one, caring, and personable. We’ll certainly be back for future needs and would recommend going to SouthStar to see Abe, specifically, for any fracture/sprain concerns. Keep up the great care, y’all!

It’s been two years since I’ve been to South Star urgent care. My daughter and I checked in at the midtown campus and waited hours to be seen. My daughter had a sprained ankle and was in pain so I kept her home from school and when I asked the provider for a school excuse, she denied me. I do not remember her name, but she had blonde hair and blue eyes. I asked her why, and she said it was provider discretion. This is absolutely absurd as I am the mother and I know if I need to send my child to school or not. This provider overstepped her boundaries and lost patients because of it. All three of my children were patients at the clinic until this nonsense occurred. It was highly unethical and unprofessional. It still upsets me when I think about it and it’s been two years. I felt like she was judging my daughter and myself the entire time we were there. I felt very uncomfortable. I truly hope nobody else had the same experience as we did with this provider who so desperately needs a self evaluation.

The care that they gave me was phenomenal. When they came into the room, I didn’t feel rushed, and I would have to say I’m above and beyond happy with the results of everything. I would highly recommend this location. I visited this location on October 31, arriving at 7:30 p.m. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
