The hotel was clean, seemed safe, wasn't extremely loud outside either given it was close to an industrial park. The reason for the 3 stars are 1. Water is like warm at best in the shower, no warm water at all goes to the sink faucet. 2. Gentlemen who checked me in offered to "Upgrade my room to include a refrigerator and microwave". I declined and he told me I'd be upgraded anyways free of charge. This is nice, only issue is this was already on my reservation. So either it was an attempted scam or he was wrong about my reservation. 3. Our room was never serviced. We were gone most of the day every night we stayed and bed linens were never changed nor were the towels changed. We would have complained to the front desk but we were just too tired each evening we got back to the hotel. The hotel was clean and seemed safe though. I've definitely stayed in worse. I'd say it was still the best deal in the area given the other options, but I'm sure for a little more money we could have had better service.

The room had a very very strong chlorine smell, making it hard to breathe. I requested a room change and they said they could do it the next day but it was not healthy to stay there. Then I saw 3 crawling insects.

I am not sure how to rate this because the hotel itself was very good, clean and all. The you man who gave us the room all good. It was then surroundings around the area Felt Extremily unsafe like I didnt want to leave the room after dark. Groups of people gathering in dark corners. There was a large group of we could see.drug deals going on just down at the corner convenience store. However, the hotel was well lit with bright lights.

My wife and I were on the road coming from Colorado and heading to Virginia. This Red Roof Inn location is one of the places we stopped to stay for a night. The staff here were amazing to us and super accommodating. They were very professional and kind and I highly recommend them. I just want to let the staff know how much I appreciate them and want to thank them.
