I wasn’t sure what to expect considering it was such a cheap price for downtown, but it was fine. If you’re super picky, not the place for you, but if you’re looking to save a few bucks and be close to everything downtown, this is a great spot. The room was clean, a tiny bit of a smoke smell when we first walked in but it was gone soon after—maybe just from a staff member who smoked before checking? Overall, good price, good location, and has a small breakfast.
My tolerance for low-cost hotels is pretty good, but this was a firm Nope. The rooms are run down and very dirty. The floor in room 108 was especially filthy. Pancake machine was cool, but that isn't great when that is your shining feature. We have stayed here before because of the location, but won't be coming back. Just too many other options with similar location.
A few reasons, number one is the appearance of the hotels all the way around. But they just stuck out like a sore number. There's a $5 charge for parking in there a lot. I don't get that. Never seen that before if they need $5 that bad just charge 5 more dollars for the room. But had no problem with that. Third, it was time to go get what they call the buffet, which is a joke. They had bagels 2 bagels, 2 times a cereal, blueberry muffins. And I guess some pancake batter, you can make pancakes third. There's a big argument between the night person and the morning. Person going on while I was having my? I guess you call it food. I mean, it was loud. Had to go on for 15 minute. Have to be more professional than thold it left. Take it in the back room tone it down some until there's nobody around. But the room was clean. The bed was fine. The shower was excellent so if you're just looking for a bed under a hundred dollars that's the place to go
Not at all happy, that after arriving I was charged a $105.00 to my credit card for damage deposit and parking. Nowhere in your listing does it say anything about a $100.00 damage deposit when you arrive for your stay. I was told that it would be refunded back to my card after my stay, well it has not been refunded to my card yet and I am not happy about that either. The floors where so dirty that my feet were blackened from walking barefoot in the room, it was discussing. P.S. I expect my refund; I left the room as nice as it was when I got there.
