Super 8 by Wyndham Fort Mitchell Cincinnati Area

Let's start with the positive:|*the front desk staff was very friendly and in fact, let us have an early check in with no problem or extra charge||* it is within walking distance to the fairgrounds and super close to the airport||*our bed was clean & our bathroom was clean||*It had the largest fridge I've seen in a hotel (more about this later though) ||* the room was fairly large and even had a table for two in it||* i appreciate that it had tile floors & did not have carpet in the room bc carpet in hotels grosses me out||What needs improvement:|* this room was in disrepair. There were massive cracks along the ceiling and gouges within the walls (pic included)||* the toilet seat was not the right size or shape for the toilet bowl, so I couldn't even sit down in order to use the restroom.(pic included)||* the shower had mismatching hardware and felt like I was putting on a performance based on the odd spotlight pointing directly into the shower (pic included)||* there was no closet in this room or place to hang clothes. The closet space had been repurposed to house the enormous refrigerator (pic included)||* although the floors were tile, they were still dirty. I had to get out of the shower to grab something from my suitcase and in the short distance to my suitcase and back to the shower, the floors were dirty enough for me to leave footprints back in the shower when I stepped back in.

I have stayed here several times over the last two years. I have always had clean and comfortable rooms. the house keeping checks on you and brings towels and toiletries for you, if you are staying for extra days. T'Ann at the front desk knows me, and so many other people that have stayed with them in the past. She and Leo and the whole team don't allow anything silly to happen when they're on duty. I read a lot of the old reviews and can promise that since new owner took control, that's the operative word. Control. The site is clean, recently renovated and they're always working on updating things but not affecting the guests and comfortability of their stay.

Fast and great check in experience! The Receptionist Tiffany was amazing!!! Very friendly and very helpful! Was told the hotel was being remodeled and our room was amazing. My mother is in a wheelchair and she had plenty of room!!!! Housekeeping could do better. We didn't have towels in the room but I went to the front desk and Tiffany gave me towels. Which I understand the remodeling and getting new housekeepers and them remembering everything for the rooms. I used to run a hotel so I totally understand. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for everything Tiffany!!!! I hope they keep you! You're amazing!!!!
