Super 8 by Wyndham Richmond

Clean white sheets, super comfy bed but the toilet didn't flush well and the tub had a constant drip (otherwise I'd have given a perfect score). I only needed a soft bed for the night, overall it was great for me and my puppy. And they only charged $20 for the dog, I felt like that was a fair price. They offer breakfast too, though I didn't go see what they had, i don't eat until the afternoon. They have laundry room, workout room and a pretty outdoor pool (i didn't take advantage of this either, lot of kids were in it and I only stopped to sleep so I wasn't concerned with the pool either. It did look nice and clean though. Service was great, everyone was very kind and helpful. Location was also great, just right off 65 with cracker barrel and a few other restaurants just right across the street. And 2 gas stations on the same side of the highway. No crossing the road or the interstate bridge for gas. Quick in and out and you're back on 65.

Wry small breakfast area. Not a lot of choices, but was clean. Clean rooms. Beautiful views. Pool was well kept with pool towels. Courteous staff. Easy check-in. Safe area around the hotel. The door to our hotel room was hard to close and the peep hole to see outside our hotel room door was broken and had tissue paper stuffed inside

The room was not terribly clean. My standards might be too high, given that I clean homes for a living. There was a boil water order in the area while we were there so no breakfast was available, even though the breakfast foods they serve don’t require water, with the exception of coffee , tea and hot chocolate. That was pretty much of a disappointment. Getting some bottled water would have been accommodating. I went into the kitchenette to get a couple of spoons so that my grandson and I could eat some leftovers and the front desk person was not happy with me. She reminded me that the kitchen was closed in no uncertain terms! This isn’t the hotels fault, but there were people slamming car doors and hotel doors repeatedly after midnight until about 1 AM. All in all, this was not a pleasant stay.
