We had a horrible experience with this hotel.When we arrived at 4:00 our reserved room still was not clean so we had to wait an additional hour for our room to be ready. When we got into the room I pulled the blankets back on the bed to lay down and you could literally see dirt and feel dirt on the sheets. There was live roaches crawling around in the tub when we entered the bathroom. Along with a killed roach on the edge of the tub that was just left there. There was a roach smashed on the door and left there also. I used points at this hotel for a free night and was told that I would not be refunded my points. Once the points are used they are gone. The lady in the office was kind and tried to help me the best she could. We ended up getting a different room. That room was a lot cleaner but I could see that the floor wasn’t swept under the desk and the AC was leaking. A huge puddle of water was on the floor we when went into that room. I was given towels to clean it myself.

Dirty. I've never seen a hotel with stained carpet like this in the hallway. It smelled like smoke, was very noisy, and I would not recommend. Breakfast had expired milk, no juice, only powdered coffee creamer, bread, yogurt, cereal, and apples. There were many people living here and apparently also working there. We slept poorly. We couldn't leave fast enough.

This review is from several years prior. The first time I stayed here, it was being renovated. It was being worked on. That time it net a 3 star for continuous positive improvement. The room reeked of smoke and bananas. The hallways were also smoke-filled. They sprayed industrial grade toxic chemicals in the room to kill the odor, with no vent in the room. The one small vent in the bathroom is shared with the other terrible smelling rooms, the staff storages taking the metaphorical cake. The gym had a single forty pound dumb-bell, and the breakfast was increasingly missing items, closing early. One time I went down an hour prior to closing and got yelled at by the management. I offered to leave with a refund of the remaining days, and the person called the police (who then got me my refund). Very nice location though, right next to the ball park.

We stayed here for a concert at Riverbend in Ohio. It was a decent price and about 25 min or so from the venue. You can very easily tell they are doing what they can to keep this place a float. It wasn't the cleanest and rooms smelled like old smoke and a little musty. I did see a bug which looked like it could have been a cockroach but I cannot confirm as my husband didn't see it. We even had our dinner that sat out while we slept but we didn't wake up to any bugs. So take that for face value. We all know bugs are everywhere. We got a king bed room and I got a room for our kids with 2 queens. No complaints from the young adults. The king bed we had was not the most comfortable. You could tell it was becoming worn down and a little bumpy. We were able to rest our heads though and that's all that matters. They gave us free water bottles which really came in handy as we took them into the concert with us and made our coffeein the room. We didn't have breakfast here so i cant say how that was. Over all not a bad place to lay your head for a night. The staff was super friendly as was the young man who checked us in and out. He was very friendly and professional as well.
