Had this company for many years. Didn't have any problems until they had to come to my side of town. I called for a problem in the crawl space, someone came to the home while I was at work, after that, I received a notice that they were terminating my insurance. My front stoop railing had separated of which I had repaired when I originally moved in. The insurance agent didn't want to deal with the problem that I called them about but noted the railing. The problem was that they stated that they had contacted me about this, which they had not. Wasn't concerned on whether or not I was preparing to repair the railing. They just cancelled my insurance without warning. My home basically was in the "wrong zip code" for this company. They lied about notifying me about my front stoop, they had never been to my home. LIARS.I usually don't call out racism, but my home was just in the wrong part of town for this company. In my opinion racist and liars.

I would give 0 stars if I could. They own the Meadow Event Park who has been significantly disturbing our farming life style for almost 3 years with the outdoor concerts. The sleep deprivation and stress have been unimaginable. Hundreds of complaints have fallen on deaf ears. They profess to care about farmers and the farming life style but have not made any changes. My comments on their fb page have apparently been blocked.

Crazy going from agent and preaching to customers about having the "best claims department" to only turn around and have a giant fist rammed up my *** during my first filed auto claim. Local office couldn't even provide me with policy details due to "computer issues", waited over a week just to find out from my agent if I was covered. Another 3 days before i had to call back again to remind someone I have a smashed car and no one has helped me. 3-4 more days to be told next steps. Auto body shop did great work and turned around the estimate in a couple of days, only for that estimate to sit on an adjusters desk for 2 or more days. Adjuster finally looks at estimate and can't make decision about total loss without bosses approval. Bosses approval doesn't come for another 5-6 days, had to call and remind someone that I am awaiting an answer. All in all I was finally told my car was a total loss after roughly 3-1/2 weeks. The best part though was dropping my title off at the local branch for them to sit on it for 3 days after telling me they were sending to home office immediately. Once home office received title, they proceeded to sit on it for 4 days. I have been without car since October 18th, so whatever time line provided above is sandbagged a little. Over 5 weeks without a car, nor a single ounce of communication from the insurance company. Not a single phone call. Nor has anyone asked if I was okay from my accident. Needless to say don't insure with farm bureau. I can tell you from experience on both ends, they don't care about their employees nor their insureds. Also marketing team, I have this all screen shot, once I see this deleted I will start blitzing local branches with the same review. Would advise you to just swallow your lumps on this one. Doubt too many people will read but maybe I'll save a couple of poor souls from ever doing business with you guys. *edit received multiple voice-mails from VP wanting to apologize. For "system failure" for two weeks. Will return her calls when I receive reimbursement for total loss. Quite frankly scary that a multi million dollar insurance company can lose their system for 2 weeks. So poor claims department, and poor IT department leaving insureds exposed. ***2nd edit*** Received claims check, found a new car. Sent request to add new car to have coverage leaving the lot while I contemplate whether or not to stay with VAFB. That was on Monday morning, no one has reached out to take care of the request. Will be pulling all p&c policies as well as life policies from them. DO NOT INSURE WITH THIS COMPANY.
